On April 20, the Deepwater Horizon drilling rig operated by British Petroleum exploded 50 miles off the coast of Louisiana. Sadly, 11 lives were lost in the accident, and 17 more crew members were injured. Unfortunately, the damage didn't stop there. The crew was unable to shut off the rig's underwater wellhead, which now leaks an estimated 200,000 gallons of crude oil into the Gulf of Mexico every day.

The blog is back, and you may notice that a few things have changed. It's running on Drupal instead of WordPress, and its now powered by the latest beta of Ubuntu 10.04. But we all know that what really counts isn't how shiny and new the blog software is -- it's the frequency and quality of the blog posts!
